SCORCHED is set in Sydney in 2012. There’s been no rainfall for over 200 days, and the city has run out of water, becoming completely reliant on its desalination plant. SCORCHED is Australia’s first ‘what-if’ disaster telemovie, exploring the consequences of climate change and water scarcity in the very near-future.

Produced by Kylie du Fresne for Goalpost Pictures and Ellenor Cox, in association with Firelight Productions, for the Nine Network, was the winner of a Digital Emmy and nominated for a Silver LOGIE for Outstanding Drama Series, Miniseries or Telemovie.
